An industry-standard, scalable solution
NCC-2 series is available in 2 versions, both based on the 19’’ industry standard - 8 slots or 14 slots ; with one chassis to manage thousands of transactions coming from up to 60,000 terminals with 12 E1/T1 blades.
Maximized network availability
NCC-2 series was designed with a clear focus on reliability. With its full redundant architecture with one processor per board, 2 power supplies and 2 management blades, it provides a high level of reliability compared to solutions such as PC-based solution.
Thanks to the NCC-2 series multiprocessor solution, each board operates fully independently for faster and safer operations. NCC-2 series is designed to route financial transactions and support specificities such as ISO8583, ASYNC7/ASYNC8, TPDU, up to V.34 (33600bps) and FastConnect/FastPOS modulations.
Access to a broad range of remote services
NCC-2 series offer all terminals, including modem-based terminals, an efficient access to remote tools such as The Estate Manager or NCC/Viewer. NCC/Viewer is a powerful network monitoring system ; it provides acquirers and banks with a remote solution to monitor traffic and network quality.
The Management Blade handles TCP/IP connections to the host and the dialog with NCC/Viewer and The Estate Manager. It manages the interconnection with other NCC using a Virtual Private Network.
The PSTN board embeds two analog PSTN Modems which offer NCC-2 series the ability to handle 2 PSTN connections simultaneously.
The TCP/IP blade allows NCC-2 series to connect to a TCP/IP network and allows concentration of TCP/IP (Ethernet, GPRS, 3G) terminals traffics. Each 100 BaseT (i.e. 100Mb/sec) Ethernet board can handle up to 250 simultaneous connections.
E1/T1 Blade manages full ISDN PRI E1/T1 or MFC/R2 lines. One blade can handle up to 30 simultaneous PSTN calls, and a full E1/T1 populated NCC-2 series up to 240 simultaneous PSTN calls. Security NCC-2 series and its latest generation of hardware have been designed with the latest standard of communication to help customers reach the PCI DSS guidelines (Support of encryption, encrypted VPN, TLS1.2, SSH…).
